Visit to Kisan Mela at CSIR–Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Lucknow

Kisan Melas play an important role in agricultural education by providing exposure to farmers, scientists, and new technologies. Faculty members and students of the School of Agricultural Sciences, BBD University participated in the Kisan Mela on 30–31 January 2025 at CSIR–Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Lucknow. The visit helped participants understand advancements in medicinal and aromatic crops. They also explored exhibitions on improved varieties and modern agricultural practices. Overall, the visit was highly informative and enhanced practical knowledge.
